[edit] Logo

I can't find any evidence that the logo shown is Fluxbuntu's logo. Should it be removed, or does someone have a reference?--Chealer 04:23, 2 August 2006 (UTC)

The description on the image page says "prototype" but it isn't referenced. Secretlondon 11:49, 3 August 2006 (UTC)
Removed after 1 week silence.--Chealer 05:06, 10 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Release

Fluxbuntu isn't out yet. Their forums indicate that "someone heard" mid-May 2007, but nothing so definitive as to put on the article yet.

There should be a fluxbuntu based on ubuntu 7.04 by now. Maybe the project is dead. -- Hulten 12:34, 19 June 2007 (UTC)
It's not dead the project page states that it's been delayed until September pending the next update of Ubuntu. Sharru Kinnu III 17:09, 3 August 2007 (UTC)

Since this page is now semi-protected, would one of the people who have edit rights revert the Release Date back to Sept. 27, 2006? It was changed by the first vandalism edit by 69.89.118.2, but SarekOfVulcan made his own edits on top of it instead of reverting. As far as I know there is NO projected release date. Pompous stranger 22:47, 20 August 2007 (UTC)

If there's no projected release date, why do you want it moved back to last year, instead of removed?--SarekOfVulcan 00:07, 21 August 2007 (UTC)
Because the last released build of any kind (nBuild1 Revision2 Desktop Edition) was released on that date, and that's what the entry was before the vandalism touched it. I agree the "Last Stable Release" title is incorrect, it was definitely an alpha release. The entry probably should be changed to "TBA." Their forum is down now but the last I heard October was an optimistic release target. Pompous stranger 04:39, 21 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Comparation

Which is lighter Fluxbox or Xfce ?. Is fluxbox freedesktop.org standards´compliant ?. --Mac (talk) 08:40, 5 March 2008 (UTC)

Fluxbox is considered much lighter than Xfce. Btw, last I heard, they were skipping 8.04 release and trying to get an 8.10 release out in October. 129.120.86.169 (talk) —Preceding comment was added at 00:53, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
