Fluorenylmethyloxycarbonyl chloride
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Fluorenylmethyloxycarbonyl chloride (FMOC) is a reagent like phenylisothiocyanate that is used in reversed phase HPLC. FMOC is a highly fluorescent compound that can be used for quantitative analysis. FMOC's practical uses are limited by the requirement that excess FMOC be removed before analysis of fluorescence.
