Talk:Flowmaster
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I noticed that Wikipedia doesn't have articles on some of the big exhaust companies, such as Flowmaster and Magnaflow. When I noticed this, I copied and pasted the About Us section on the Flowmaster website and got the User:CorenSearchBot message. I deleted the copyrighted information, and wrote some pretty basic information when it was marked for "speedy deletion". I know that this article needs to be re-written and expanded, but I don't work for the company and in no way endorse them. Because of this, I would have to argue to keep this article.--Macdaddy5539 08:01, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
I also must agree. It looks notable enough and no longer has copyright violations. William Ortiz 08:06, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
- Fair enough then. I've removed the CSD template on this page (thought I'll let an admin make the call on the page about the founder), but now my concerns are focused on the company's notability. If you can establish that, you're in the free and clear as far as I'm concerned! Feel free to drop by if you have any questions. --jonny-mt(t)(c) 08:09, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
Thanks, guys. Now, I am on a quest to show Flowmaster notability. Shouldn't take long. --Macdaddy5539 08:18, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
If I get more time, I will get this article to read like the Edelbrock page. And also, if AEM (Advanced Engine Management) has enough notability to exist, why shouldn't Flowmaster? --Macdaddy5539 08:51, 6 November 2007 (UTC) Well, make me eat my words... the AEM article was deleted. I will improve this article regardless.--Macdaddy5539 07:32, 7 November 2007 (UTC)
