Talk:Flourtown Fire Company

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Yes, please leave the text in place, I have permission (its board of directors) from Flourtown Fire Company to create an entry and record their history on it. This is similiar to Fort Washington Fire Company, etc.

thank you... TiminErdenheim (talk) 21:57, 11 December 2007 (UTC)

Your say-so isn't the same as a legal agreement from the copyright holders to license this material under the GFDL, and the copyright problem isn't the only problem- this article doesn't cite any reliable sources, and I'm not convinced that a local fire company meets the notability criteria. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 22:02, 11 December 2007 (UTC)

A note will also be added to the homepage copyright message of http://www.flourtownfire.org will allow GFDL usage of its materials. I will alos try and edit the original article a bit. Flourtown Fire Company is very historical as are most volunteer fire companies in PA, USA and is worthy of note.
