Shouldn't some details be included about the inverse tangent problem that Florimond set Descartes and which wasn't solved until the invention of the calculus (Leibniz included his solution at the end of his paper announcing his calculus in 1684). --Shevlane 14:25, 28 June 2007 (UTC)
