I have raised a question regarding possibly conflicting statements regarding the ownership of "Fort Hill" following the death of John C. Calhoun in 1850, in this article, the article on Fort Hill, and the article on Thomas Green Clemson. See Talk:Fort Hill (Clemson) for details. --TommyBoy (talk) 09:21, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
- I have edited the page by providing some information on how Fort Hill passed from John C. Calhoun to Thomas Green Clemson. This version is from E. M. Lander's 1983 history of the Calhoun Family and Clemson. Alternative versions of this transfer exist. Many simplify the history by implying that it went from Calhoun to Clemson.
