I propose moving all the following pages for this reason: capitalization, plural names should be uniform. --64.178.96.168 20:13, 29 April 2007 (UTC)
-
- Florida panther (disambiguation) → Florida panther
- Florida panther → Florida panther (cat) (or something)
- Florida Panthers → Florida Panthers (hockey)
[edit] Support

- Support the first two moves. But I think the hockey team should stay at Florida Panthers, since it's unlikely a person looking for the animal would both capitalize and pluralize the word panther. A dablink can be added to the top of the page Florida Panthers. I think Florida panther (animal) would be a good name for the feline. Redirect Florida Panther to Florida panther. [edit] Oppose
- The Florida panther is the only topic referred to simply as "Florida panther". FIU Golden Panthers is very different. A dablink between Florida panther and Florida Panthers and one from Florida Panthers to FIU Golden Panthers would suffice, and do away with the need for a disambiguation page. --Stemonitis 17:14, 3 May 2007 (UTC)
- Oppose. The singular form clearly refers to the cat, and no one searching for sports teams will enter a singular search term. I suggest following the proposed solution by Stemonitis. Dekimasuよ! 05:41, 4 May 2007 (UTC)
