[edit] Secret designation

What does secret designation mean? Is there a page that explains that we can link to? - Peregrine Fisher 20:30, 1 February 2007 (UTC)

A secret designation is basically used by the DOT and other agencies for internal purposes. RARELY do secret designations show up on maps or signs. However, with SR 55, the designation has shown up on several maps over the years. Another example of a secret designation is SR 400, which is the designation used for Interstate 4. 71.99.214.105 01:21, 30 March 2007 (UTC).
