[edit] FL 30A vs CR 30A

According to the signage on the spot, it is the north-south part of 30A that is still a state route, with the east-west portion being Franklin/Gulf County Road 30A...? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Aerobird (talkcontribs)

  • It might be - but all I wrote was based on two independent sources. If we can find a more up-to-date map (than 2004) or reference showing the termini, updating this would be no problem... and if we can't, it wouldn't be the first place that has FSR shields on "CR roads" (like Card Sound, which still shows the SR 905 and 905A shields on Key Largo). That's the tricky part of Florida State Roads: oftentimes maps - even FDOT sources - say one thing and signs (erected by the FDOT!) say another. As for as the east-west portion, I've seen it as both CR 30A and 30E on separate maps. I don't know if they are even signed. B.Wind 01:42, 14 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] merger suggestion

As the State Road 30E (Florida) article is basically the last section of this article with a few tweaks added, it's best to add the tweaks to this article and make the 30E article a redirect. A cut'n'paste that began the other article could violate the GDFL. 147.70.242.39 14:48, 6 April 2006 (UTC)
