From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Floydelia Diasen is Governor of the Philippine province of Kalinga. Floydelia Diasen is a former vice chair of the health and science institute of the Kalinga Agricultural State College, elected in May of 2007 becoming the first woman governor of Kalinga since 1995 when the province was separated from Apayao. Diasen, a replacement candidate, said the sympathy votes generated by the April 7 murder of her husband Rommel helped her win the top elective post in the province.[1]
