Floyd Talbert

Floyd Talbert (born 1923 in Kokomo, Indiana, died 1982) was one of the soldiers whose experiences were chronicled in Band of Brothers, the book by Stephen Ambrose (and subsequently in the HBO series, where he was portrayed by Matthew Leitch).

Talbert was deployed in Easy Company, 101st Airborne Division, in 1942 as part of Operation Overlord.^{[citation needed]}

Talbert died in a car accident in 1982.^{[citation needed]}
