Floyd Norris

Floyd Norris is the chief financial correspondent of The New York Times and The International Herald Tribune. He writes a regular column on the stock market for the Times, plus a blog. In 2007, Norris was named one the nation's top 100 financial journalists by NewsBios.com.

In its dossier on Norris, NewsBios says he is "among the most respected financial journalists working today." Norris, who was born September 6, 1947, joined the Times in October 1988. He previously worked as a columnist and writer for Barron's.

Norris was born in Los Angeles. In a 1997 interview with an industry newsletter, TJFR Business News Reporter, Norris said he collects and reads books about Wall Street.
