[edit] Crime
In this area there are many incidents of anti-social behaviour. The most serious known is the gang war between The teenagers of Dukinfield and Newton which Flowery Field is a part of. The introduction of police community support officers from September 2005 has helped to combat this problem and crime now its at an all time low. The Hyde Youth and Community Centre is located in the west of the area and is open certain weekdays. Most of the anti-social behaviour usually happens along the busy streets and near to the railway station.
