Florida State Road 542 is an east-west route in Central Florida, serving Polk County. It runs 19.0[1] miles from Dundee, Florida to the east side of the city of Lakeland. SR 542 also runs through the downtown area of Winter Haven.
SR 542 is known by the following names:
- Dundee Rd., Lake Elbert Dr. SE (eastern terminus – west shore of Lake Elbert)
- Central Ave. (Lake Elbert – US 17)
