Mc Duff Ave which for most of its existence as a major road , it's Florida State Road 129 . Mc Duff Ave starts at the St Johns River as a small side road heading northwest to St Johns Ave , then Riverside Ave , then Oak St , then Hersechel St . before a major intersection with Park St And the Beginning of Florida State Road 129 . & then becoming a large 2 lane highway bordering avondale & Riverside then going up & passing a few side streets before passing Robert E. Lee High School on the left side of the road then intersecting with Downing St with ends at the Lee High Gym , Then intersecting with Remingtion St , Mc Duff Ave Turns to a Due north direction , & it meets with Alternate U.S. route 17 / Florida State Road 15A Roosevelt Expressway . , then crossing that to a large intersection with U.S. Route 17 / Florida State Road 15 , Roosevelt Blvd & then Post St , Florida State Road 228 then goes up a number of blocks paasing college st , rosselle st , the intersecting with Interstate 10 / Florida State Road 8 , then going up past Lenox Ave & moving to a more industral area and returning to a 2 line Highway using a number of side streets until meeting with W.Beaver st U.S. Highway 90 / Florida State Road 10, where it becomes N.McDuff Ave. passes Broadway Ave , then Florida State Road 129 ends at Commonwealth Ave , where at one time it was signed Duval County Road 15-B it turned West on Commonwealth Ave and went West until Jones Rd . And as for N. McDuff Ave it goes up & passes 1st Street then ends at one of the incarnations of 5th Street & the Jacksonville Kennel Club .
