Florentin-la-Capelle

Florentin-la-Capelle is a commune in the Aveyron département in southern France.

There is today - 2008 - a number of foreign families established in the commune of Florentin. This movement began when in 1988 the first house was bought by an englishman. That was a house in Les Cayrouses. However most foreigners owning houses do not live in Florentin all year round. The commune has actually several english houseowners, several dutch, several australians and there has also been a certain immigration from other parts of France. However the number of inhabitants has decreased as in most rural communes.
