Florent Piétrus (born January 19, 1981, in Les Abymes, Guadaloupe) is a French basketball player who currently plays for MMT Estudiantes.[1] He had previously played in Spain with CB Málaga (2004-07), after starting out his career at Élan Béarnais Pau-Orthez. Piétrus went undrafted in the 2003 NBA Draft. His younger brother Mickaël is playing for the Golden State Warriors.
In September 2005 he won the bronze medal at the 2005 European Championship with the French National Team.
