Florent Brard (February 7, 1976 at Chambray-les-Tours) is a French road bicycle racer, currently in the Cofidis, Le Crédit par Téléphone team. He is 1.87 m tall and weighs 74 kg.
Brard debuted as a pro in 1999 with Festina cycling team.
In 2001, still with Festina, he became French time trial national champion, also winning a stage and wearing the leader's jersey at the Tour de l'Avenir, winning the final stage of the Étoile de Bessèges, and taking the semiclassics Paris-Bourges and GP-Cholet-Pays de la Loire.
He moved to Crédit Agricole for the 2002 season, but he missed the middle part of it due to a fall which caused him some broken vertebrae.
In 2004, riding with Chocolade Jacques, he won the final stage of the Giro di Lucca and stage 2 of Paris - Corrèze
In 2005, with Agritubel, he won the Paris-Troyes, Trophée Luc Leblanc semiclassic races and a stage at the Circuit de la Sarthe.
In 2006, he moved to his current team, with which he took part in the 2006 Tour de France after becoming French national champion just one week before the start of the Grande Boucle. He was forced to abandon the race after a fall in the penultimate stage.
He is married to Nathalie, with whom he has two daughters.
