Flood Control Act of 1934

The Flood Control Act of 1934 is an Act of Congress in the United States which granted authority to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for the designing and building of flood control projects.[1] It is often regarded as a piece of legislation that had a significant impact on emergency management in the United States.[2]
