"Float On" is a hit song by R&B/soul group The Floaters in 1977. Released from their self-titled bebut album, it became one of the biggest singles of the year, spending 6 weeks at number one on the R&B singles chart. It was also a crossover hit, peaking at number 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart.
