Teca Jefferson is the current co-leader of the Tacoma band Funk City. He graduated from Pacific Lutheran University in 1989. Teca still resides in the Tacoma area to this day, and is active with his band.

Teca is currently involved with the Funk City band, and has collaborated with many different artists. He has last been heard writing the new theme song for a local show on the Pacific Lutheran University TV network.
