Invented in 1905?? No way; it was in 1901, according to the House of Cards site. I know it was played popularly, by adults and children, in the summer of 1903, in Mobile, Ala.

I construed the Rules of Play as a how-to section, which are discouraged under Wikipedia rules. If the situation is different for game articles, I apologise. Katharineamy 08:16, 10 October 2007 (UTC)

I don't think this is really a how-to in that it just explains the basic rules of play. There are more detailed rules sections for bridge, checkers, and poker. I think we should keep it. In any case, no apologies necessary--let's reserve those for rude, vexatious, and destructive people. Honestly trying to improve WP gets you only cheers. Rodney Boyd 02:16, 11 October 2007 (UTC)
