[edit] Field of View stuff on Eyepiece page

Hi Flehmen. I realise you didn't write the Calculating actual field of view section on the Eyepiece page (it was added by an anonymous user in May), but I was wondering if I could ask you about what it says, since you seem to know a bit about optics. I'm quite confused by it, because I've always thought the main way to calculate Actual FOV was to simply take the Apparent FOV, and divide by the magnification once the eyepiece is plugged into a telescope (or other device), such as described here. Is the formula in the article an alternative way to calculate the Actual FOV, for when the Apparent FOV is unavailable? Or is it something completely different? Do you think it'd be out of place to also explain the other way of calculating actual field of view? Anyway, I just thought I'd ask you since you seem to be more familiar with the optical stuff than I am. Thanks. Izogi 08:11, 5 September 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Hi

Why would you put Kodak gold in an F100?

Well, cause I got it free, I like taking photos, it wasn't slide film and I can develop it locally rather than mailing it off to get it developed. Typically I used Kodak G100 or G100VS depending on my mood but the gold gives a very different texture. I also use my camera for home photos with the wife. So, who the hell are you and why do you care what film I use in my camera? Flehmen [[user_talk:Flehmen|Work with me]] 00:05, 4 July 2007 (UTC)
