Talk:Flemish Secession hoax

[edit] Other Article
I created the 2006 Belgian Secession Hoax article to document this incident. It seems to me that we don't need two articles describing the same thing. Should I merge this article into mine and redirect this to it? I need someone's advice please. Qwertyca 00:07, 19 December 2006 (UTC)
- I think you should merge your article into this one, and redirect here. I suggest doing it that way round because:
- More articles link to Flemish Secession hoax than 2006 Belgian Secession Hoax.
- It was Flanders that was supposedly doing the seceding, not Belgium, so the name of this article is perhaps more appropriate.
- This one has marginally more information, and is perhaps slightly better reviewed as it was created earlier and has had a few more people editing it.

[edit] Title
Bye-bye Belgium is the official name given to the conceptor of the program to the show. Thus, there is no debate over whether or not it should be named otherwise — it should not. We don't call Mona Lisa The Strangely Smiling Lady simply because it is more descriptive. Thierry Caro 20:47, 23 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Translation
I think a translation from french is necessary... I agree for title...
