[edit] History
The organization was founded in 1997 by Belcoat, Barco, Brepols, Carta Mundi, Group Joos, Proost, Van Genechten-Biermans, ACV, Febelgra, Fetra, Turnhout, and the VDAB. The European Union had given the region of Turnhout the status of an EFRD zone (European Fund for Regional Development), which made it possible to create the support organization for the graphical industry.
