Fleggburgh

Fleggburgh is a village and civil parish in the English county of Norfolk, sometimes also known as Burgh St Margaret. It is situated to the west of the Trinity Broads complex with the Broads National Park, some 12 km north-west of the town of Great Yarmouth and 25 km east of the city of Norwich.[1]

The civil parish has an area of 12.04 km² and in the 2001 census had a population of 909 in 397 households. For the purposes of local government, the parish falls within the district of Great Yarmouth.[2]

Fleggburgh lies between Acle and Great Yarmouth. It has two churches, one of which burnt down in the 18th century, and one primary school, it's a small school with three classrooms, a hall, an office. Only 50–60 children go there, but it's a very friendly, environmental school. Broadfarm, which is a camp site, started off as a pig farm. There are all sorts of activities there, starting from an outside swimming pool to a bar where you can relax and enjoy the evening.
