The category of Flemish Baroque painters identifies those artists working in Antwerp, Brussels, Ghent and other cities in the Southern Netherlands during the seventeenth-century. Many of the artists were trained or influenced by Peter Paul Rubens, Anthony van Dyck, Jacob Jordaens, or David Teniers the Younger.
