[edit] Notice: Article-name lacks WP:A to establish WP:BIO

Wikipedia articles must be based on reliable sources to verify any claims of Notability ... without them, an article is just original research, which is prohibited by official policy.

Even though the lack of reliable source attribution in an article is not grounds for deletion in itself, articles with absolutely no sources (or only links to unreliable ones like MySpace, Google, and Amazon.com) raise a flag for some editors that such attributable sources may not, in fact, exist.

Just in case Article-name (edit|talk|history|links|watch|logs) has already been deleted by the time you see this message, please read What to do after your speedy delete has been restored to better understand what has happened, and your options for recovery and continuing development of your article.

Please read Wikipedia's official policies and guidelines that contain the specific notability criteria for Notability (people) (WP:BIO) and Biographies of Living Persons (WP:BLP) for further information ... if you have written this article about yourself or a close relative, then you also need to read both Autobiography (WP:AUTO) and Conflict of interest (WP:COI).

John Q. Public, an Example of a stub with good WP:A for WP:BIO, may be used as a stencil for learning to use the {{cite news}} template.
