[edit] Reception?

How is this series received by critics and fans? I heard it was a very dull affair. --24.249.108.133 04:50, 16 September 2007 (UTC)

I heard on Slice of Scifi that there were rumors going around DragonCon that the show has been canceled. I haven't seen any announcements about it yet though. I think theres a general rule about commenting on the quality of the topic itself (and I wish others would follow this rule) but I wouldn't mind seeing some media reaction added in if it's acceptable and verifiable. --Arkcana 05:08, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
As a fan of science fiction in general, I find it an enjoyable series, though not on the cutting edge of big-concept shows like Battlestar Galactica or Heroes. It's well produced, matching the technical quality of Star Trek: The Next Generation, or Eureka. It's a light-hearted show, with just enough camp to allow the actors to have a good time. The series has likely taken a turn for the dramatic with the end of the most recent episode; Flash, Zarkov, and Baylin are on Mongo and unable to return to Earth as immediately as in previous episodes, and Dale is still on Earth. It looks like it'll end up a more serious but no less fun show, similar to Eureka. --75.161.65.233 04:37, 29 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Writer's strike

This is not included among the list of SciFi's shows on the list of how shows are affected by the writer's strike. If anyone has any information to keep current on the page, it should be updated on either the list of television series affected by the strike or posted here. It did not affect season 1, last night's season finale resolved the original story while leaving the door wide open for a second season. I also note it is a Canadian production from the closing credits (already stated in the summary section of the article.) Jon (talk) 18:38, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
