[edit] Early Flanagan

Flanagan was originally suppose to be located 2.5-3 miles east of were it is now. It was called Windtown which is still there but the only thing that remains there is a church and a school house. The school house is no longer in use but the church in still functional. A house was built on the church property for the Pastor of the church to live in. The reason the town was moved west was that two brothers donated the land to Windtown and the city counsel voted to move the town 2.5-3 miles west. The land that was donated was a swomp and had a natural water Aquafer which is why it was moved to the swomp. —Preceding unsigned comment added by JFROBIS2 (talk • contribs) 22:04, 26 May 2008 (UTC)
