[edit] Serbia/Montenegro Socialist Republic flags

If there is a reason for these two flags to be exactly the same (or as close to the same as one can first distinguish), it would be a very good thing to mention. Anyone? Scoutersig 07:05, 13 June 2006 (UTC)

The drawing of the SR Montenegro flag is wrong. The Montenegrian flag should have significantly lighter blue in the middle.
Flag of the Princedom/Kingdom of Montenegro (1905-1918), see Flag of Montenegro historical section

Another more important problem is that the article doesnt cite any sources. As far as I know the SR Macedonia flag was based on the revolutionary flags from the times of the resistance against the Ottoman Empire (for example flags used in the Ilinden Uprising and Kruševo Republic, 1903), and a red flag was always typical for Macedonia regardless of communism (even the modern Macedonian flag is red). However I have no sources on hand at this moment. --Dzole (talk) 20:12, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
