Talk:Flagellate
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Does anybody happen to know an average size for a Zooflagellate?
A lot of them are around 5-15 μm, but larger ones are still fairly common.
[edit] Phylum
The phylum for flagellates could really improve the quality of this article. Sodaplayer Oh didn't see that part lol. talk contributions ^_^ 00:43, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Ouch
Is it the case that the word flagellation comes from the shape of the whip-like tendrils on these cells? What would be the best way to point this out in the article. "If you are looking for flagellation, please click here" might seem a bit odd, although I reckon it would be a popular link. -Ashley Pomeroy (talk) 21:47, 6 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] a brain???
"with microtubule roots that are an important part of the cell's brain"
um, a single cell organism has a brain? You mean like with nerve cells and all that? Hm, maybe I'm wrong .. gotta go hit the bio books .. but that just doesn't sound right.
