Flag of the Province of Santiago (Dominican Republic); The Red means by the founding of the city of Santiago de los Caballeros in 1492 by Christopher Columbus, The White represent it's battles which happen in the 1800's of Palo Hincado and it's battles of Independence. The shield represent the city of Santiago de los Caballeros and the ruins that the city has.
