In 2004 Flatsigned.com started a sub-division FlatSigned Press, Inc. which published its first book; a leather-bound, limited edition of three thousand copies of President Gerald R. Ford's last book The John F. Kennedy Assassination: Report of the Warren Commission. Ford is the last surviving member of the Warren Commission and this is President Ford's last book. This reprint of the original Warren Commission Report was published with a completely new foreword written by President Ford giving more detail and his current thoughts on everything from the Kennedy assassination to 9-11 and his connections to the administrations of George H.W. and George W. Bush. In the following months FlatSigned Press, Inc. published and released matching limited edition signed books from such noted authors as moonwalker and astronaut Buzz Aldrin and Lt. General Harold Moore, the commander of the very first battle of the Vietnam War. The two titles from Astronaut and Moonwalker Buzz Aldrin are Encounter With Tiber where the lettered editions are also hand signed by 2001: A Space Odyssey author Sir Arthur C. Clarke, and Men From Mars. The title from Harold (Hal) Moore is We Were Soldiers Once...and Young, made even more famous by the movie starring Mel Gibson of the same title.
