Flashpoints (radio program)

Flashpoints is a daily investigative news and public affairs program broadcast weekdays at 5 p.m. PST on Pacifica Radio station KPFA-FM (94.1) in Berkeley, California.

Executive Producer Dennis Bernstein and Senior Producer, Nora Barrows-Friedman provide daily coverage of events the mainstream and even some alternative news media fail to present. The Flashpoints team also includes Roving Producer Miguel Molina Contributing Producer, Robert Knight, Technical Director, Miguel Guerrero, and Environmental Producer, Amanda Bellerby.

The program devotes considerable airtime to events and issues involving Israel, the Gaza Strip, and the West Bank. On the ground reporting from the Palestinian territories, the Haiti, Colombia, Venezuela, Afghanistan and around the world, give additional context and meaning to a complex international political dynamic that citizens of the USA seldom learn about.
