Flak (disambiguation)

Flak refers to anti-aircraft gunfire, derived from the German Flugabwehrkanone, for "aircraft defense cannon", during World War II.
Flak can also mean:
- Flak jacket, protective clothing worn by soldiers and others to protect themselves from debris and shrapnel
- Criticism, as a metaphorical extension of the previous, e.g. "I'll have to take the flak for what that confounded reporter dug up."
- "Flat land" or "flat sandbank", as a component of Germanic language area place names, e.g. Flakfortet
- Flak, a fictional Commanding Officer in the Advance Wars series
- Flak Magazine, an American online magazine, founded in 1998
