Flag of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation

The flag of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization has a navy blue (Pantone 280) field charged with a white compass rose emblem from which radiate four white lines. It was approved 14 October 1953.

According to the NATO website, the following dimensions are used in the organization flag:

  • Length: 400 (units)
  • Width: 300
  • Star: 150
  • Diameter of the circle behind the star: 115
  • Amount of space between the star and the white line: 10
  • Amount of space between the edge of the flag to the white line: 30[1]
