Flag of Vendsyssel

This is a proposal for a flag of Vendsyssel in Denmark. It was introduced by the mayor of Hjørring in 1976, and is used to some extent. It is a Nordic Cross flag in blue, orange and green. The blue colour symbolises the sky and the sea. The orange/red colour is for Denmark, and the green is for the nature.
The flag is not officially recognised.
