Flag of Moscow

The flag of Moscow (Russian: Москва́, romanised: Moskva, IPA: [mʌskˈva] see also other names) in the Russian Federation is a dark red field charged with the arms of the city in the center. It displays Saint George wearing armor and a blue cape with a golden lance in his right hand riding on a silver horse. He is shown stabbing a dragon with the lance.
The flag was adopted on February 1, 1995. The proportions are 2:3.
