Fjordman is an anonymous Norwegian blogger who writes about Islam and Muslim immigration and the danger that he believes it poses to Western civilization.

Fjordman has brought a pro-western, right-wing, viewpoint to the debate regarding the impact of Islam in Europe.[1].
His topics include Islam and democracy, multiculturalism, the European Union and Western culture. He is an outspoken proponent of Bat Yeor's Eurabia theory and wrote an essay titled "The Eurabia Code" backing it.

Fjordman believes the passivity of Western governments before the influx of non-white immigrants is a "White Masochism", and states that white people should be given the right to have a "room" of their own.[2] [3]

Fjordman believes the Bosnian genocide was overblown by what he calls "the establishement", and thinks the historical events preceding the Balkan wars should be taken in account, to understand what happened. [4]

Fjordman was widely regarded by blogs critical of Islam as an expert in his field. Robert Spencer of Jihad Watch calls him the "great European essayist"[5] and "the superb European writer"[6]. He is generally referred to as the "noted"[7][8][9] blogger.
His articles, which are often lengthy, are widely quoted in various blogs and independent news sites, such as Global Politician[10], FrontPageMag[11], Jihad Watch[12], Brussels Journal[13], Faith Freedom International[14], Little Green Footballs[15], Free Republic and Daily Pundit[16] among others, and quite often printed verbatim. However, he has recently been stopped linked to by Charles Johnson of Little Green Footballs due to his support for controversial political parties such as Vlaams Belang and the Sweden Democrats.

Fjordman blogged on his own web log in 2005, giving it up at the end of the year. According to the site counter, by May 2007 the blog had more than a million hits.[17] Fjordman has since continued writing, "guesting" in other blogs such as Brussels Journal and 'Gates of Vienna' [1].
