[edit] Translation request

Hello, I saw that you are a native speaker of Arabic, so I would like to ask you if you could take a look at 2003 invasion of Iraq and Iraq War. There is a featured article in Arabic which we would like to know how it could be used the English one which is of course dominated by people who have either been there as soldiers or have their knowledge from western media. Someone also asked if the section about "related propaganda and phrases" could be amplified with information about the Iraqi side. Maybe there are also people who took photos in Iraq at the Arabic version? Nameme 16:11, 2 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] License tagging for Image:HudaGhalia.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:HudaGhalia.jpg. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 23:09, 29 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Hello

Thanks for contacting me. I do have a look on Palestinian related articles every now and then. Un fortunately, they are all biased and written from a single point of view denying any history of today's Palestinians to their homeland or any one who inhabited it before. See for example the Palestinian people article. I would love to contribute to your project, however given the number of editors who vandal anything related to Palestine on Wikipedia, something needs to be done about it. Else, Wikipedia is a misleading site about the history of Palestine and the Palestinians. Almaqdisi talk to me 04:26, 5 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:EU Presidency Logo LU2005.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:EU Presidency Logo LU2005.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 09:02, 26 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Thanks

For your note on the Atallah Hanna article. I would like to hear more about why you think "Archbishop" is not good to include in the title. I just followed Wiki guidelines on naming for religious figures. Tiamut 20:24, 15 November 2007 (UTC)

Hey there. I see your point. But I took the idea for the naming of the article from this page [1]. I don't know if we should change it now considering that this is a standing guideline and Atallah Hanna already redirects to the page. Let me know what you think after reading this.
