[edit] Proposal to merge with "Fixation (visual)"

The other title fits key search words much better, doesn't it? Tony (talk) 11:25, 29 September 2007 (UTC)

Sure, after the merge it could be moved to wherever it fits best. But since Fixational eye movement is older (by more than a year) and has more edit history (see [1] and [2]) I thought it would be better if the merge went in that direction. Ewlyahoocom 18:02, 29 September 2007 (UTC)
Why not fix the article title first; then merge? It's clearly unsatisfactory, and I'd have thought merging in the opposite direction would be preferable. Which article is older might be a consideration if all other things were equal; but they're not. If this article title had been appropriate, I'd have found it when I searched for "fixation" and found nothing, at least not at the top of my search. That is why I started the other one.
