Fixed first visit

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Fixed First Visit or FFV is a program by DaimlerChrysler and other car dealerships to ensure that the car maintenance conducted is "done right the first time"

In some senses FFV is used as a metric for how well the mechanic diagnoses and fixes the problem "on the first visit." 20% FFV would mean that twenty percent of the vehicles brought into that dealership did not have to be brought back for follow on work on the same problem.
