Five Horse Johnson is an American blues-rock band, formed in 1995 from Toledo, Ohio. Although far from a household name, they have toured with such popular groups as Clutch and Halfway to Gone. The band combines hard rock, blues and other influences into a blend of stoner rock/blues music they call their own. Their latest album The Mystery Spot featured many special guests including drummer Jean-Paul Gaster from Clutch; on a related note they have just finished a worldwide tour with Clutch and Dub Trio.
They had the song "Mississippi King" from No. 6 Dance featured on Tony Hawk's Underground, and "I Can't Shake It" from The Mystery Spot featured on MLB 2K7.
Most recently Eric Oblander was featured on Clutch's latest album From Beale Street to Oblivion.
