[edit] Team Bardahl
I'm intrigued by this - it sounds as if this was some kind of forerunner to the F1 effort, as Divila also worked for the team, but I don't see why they would have moved the Copersucar team to Brazil if they already had a base in England.
Any ideas? 4u1e 20:16, 7 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] References
If anyone's got any decent hardcopy (as opposed to online) and English language refs for this - feel free to substitute them for the ones I've used. I'm well aware that this article relies rather too heavily on web pages, and Brazilian ones at that, but that's where a lot of the detailed history is! 4u1e 03:40, 12 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Rename article to Fittipaldi Automotive
Suggest that this article should be renamed Fittipaldi Automotive. The general principle with team pages is that they should be called what the team was called (unless this conflicts with an existing article). Fittipaldi Automotive makes most sense here - the team was entered as that for four of its eight years (Copersucar-Fittipaldi for three and Skol Fittipaldi for one) and I believe that this was always the name of the company itself, names on the F1 entry list are as much about advertising as anything else.
Anyone disagree? (Anyone reading this?!) Might create a slightly fearsome task in terms of redirects though - there's a lot of pages connecting here..... 4u1e 21 April 2006
- No objections in several months, so: Done! 4u1e 21:38, 19 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] The Results table
It says that blocks in bold indicate point scoring races. I think the color coded boxes takes care of this. I feel that it would be better if we gave the link to the color "key" and denoted pole positions with bold. -Aprithvi 04:53, 2006 July 30 (UTC)
- You're absolutely right - that was left over from the previous iteration of the results table. Cheers for the spot. 4u1e 21:50, 30 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] "pay driver"
It says Wilson was a "pay driver." What exactly does that mean? Recury 20:01, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
- He (or his sponsors) paid money for his drive, a not uncommon practice. 4u1e 12:23, 31 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Copersucar Fittipaldi logo.jpg
Image:Copersucar Fittipaldi logo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
