I think some reference should be made to Fitness First contracts and how difficult it is to leave the club without incurring heavy fees or direct debits for the rest of your life---

Uhhhhhhhhh... Whatever bright spark decided to add a quote 'known for ripping off members' or other such stupidities, don't. It's idiotic and I've removed it. It's fair enough to talk about contact terms, but it's not ok to make broad sweeping statements like that.
