Hello. The reason I've placed the source and notability tags on the article you created is to show areas that your article needs improvement. It is nothing personal. That being said, you should not remove the tags without improving the article. As I said before, you should probably read several Wikipedia guidelines, specifically WP:Notability WP:Verify, WP:Cite, and probably WP:COI. I have no doubt that the organization is important and should have an article. That's why I placed the tags, so that you can improve the article so someone else does not nominate it for deletion. You need sources that do more than just prove the organization exists, they need to back up all the claims made in the article. These sources need to be independent of the subject. Secondly you need to include in the article why this organization is notable, what it has done to receive coverage, as stated in WP:Notability. Thanks for your time. Hello. Sorry for the late reply, I was out of town. As to your comments, I agree with you, there are tons of articles that are completely unencyclopedic and have tons of problems. When I see something that doesn't meet Wiki policies, I try to improve them, or tag them so that the author can. It has nothing to do with "fairness" that your article got tagged and others are not tagged, there are simply too many articles for everyone to get too. As far as notability concerns, again, I agree with you, I wasn't trying to say the non-profit org was unimportant, I was trying to prompt you to put in the article why it is important. That is why I provided the links above, so that you can improve your article to meet this encyclopedias standards, rather than having a crappy article like the ones your mentioned above. There references you listed are very weak, while they do prove the org exists, they do nothing to verify the claims made in the article. You need more information like the points you made on my talk page, explaining the efforts to remove carbon-14 from the food chain. In short, there are tons of crappy articles out there, and it has nothing to do with your article, their existence doesn't justify the existence of other articles that don't meet guidelines. Please read the guidelines, they are well written and very helpful. Beach drifter (talk) 18:22, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
