[edit] Rewrite and rename

I've renamed and rewritten based on more reliable sources than the webpage this apparently was first taken from. However, still have some concerns that the info here may not be up to date with latest work, since even in the same volume as Schele's contributions another article seems to portray the 'Fish-Fin' glyph as a title or toponym from Bonampak, not a personage name. The sources are also unclear on exactly which Lintel at Yaxchilan Str. 12 the name-glyph appears, so dunno whether it's Lintel 35 or Lintel 37 for eg, or even which glyph block. It could prob be lintel 35 since that's the one I think that lists about 10 or so 'names' of foreigners, but can't say for sure.

With the uncertainty over what inscriptions record this name, and whether it is a personal name, it's a bit difficult at present to see if there's anything else known about this individual. There could well be something, but it would take some digging. --cjllw ʘ TALK 09:18, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
