Fishers Green is located 1 mile north of Waltham Abbey, Essex on the B194 road on the section known as the Crooked Mile.

Fishers Green is in the River Lee Country Park.[1]. Attractions here include the National Bittern Information Point, and two farms which are open to the public.[2]

Many opportunities for angling.[3] can be found here. The Old River Lea is well known for the quality of its barbel and chub fishing. The Lea is only one of the few rivers in the UK where barbel are an indigenous species.[4]
