Fisheries Research Services Marine Laboratory

The Fisheries Research Services (FRS) Marine Laboratory is situated in Aberdeen, Scotland. It is an agency of the Scottish Executive Environment and Rural Affairs Department.
FRS provides advice to the Scottish Executive and UK Government on fishing and other marine issues.
The FRS Marine Laboratory is a member of the Aberdeen Research Consortium which also includes:
- University of Aberdeen
- Institute of Terrestrial Ecology, Banchory Research Station
- The Macaulay Institute
- Rowett Research Institute
- Robert Gordon University
- Scottish Agricultural College
